Caio Correa Canedo, simply known as Caio (born August 9, 1990 in Volta Redonda) is an Brazilian footballer who plays attacker. He currently plays for Botafogo.

In 2001, Caio was living with parents in the city of Nantucket, an island near the city of Boston, and gained prominence performing on the football team at his high school. But five years and some months later, when preparing for a promising future in the sport of United States, decided to return to Brazil to realize the dream of being a professional.
Caio Canedo tests came back and started a youth in the junior category, the basic divisions in the Volta Redonda. With good performances by the youth team, and was promoted to direct professional, the opportunity to integrate the basic divisions of the São Paulo, where little remained. After four months training at the São Paulo team, the manager of both clubs failed to reach an agreement. He also ran tests in the club Udinese of Italy, where it was not because the quota for foreigners. Caio decided to return to wear the shirt of Volta Redonda, and arrived at the team's professional club"City of Steel,in fact only 18.
In 2009 agreed with Botafogo on loan. Alvinegro by the attacker ran the Tournament Otávio Pinto Guimarães and Campeonato Brasileiro Sub-20, having been on the bench for the first time in professional team in the last departure from 2009 Brazilian Championship, this match against Palmeiras.
